But notice where the wrong mind reaches first. It reaches for the lack — the missing money to study, the parent who might disapprove, the self that does not quite believe. It builds its case for why the work stays out of reach. And as long as you keep believing that case, you keep being the one who is separate from your good and great work. For there is a law beneath all of it, gentle and exact: you have what you are being.

You have what you are being

This is not a punishment. It is simply how thought works. If work means success to you, yet you are following the desire of the wrong mind — choosing a path to please another and not yourself — then you may find yourself failing, because you are not being the right work for you. And that which is right cannot be wrong. What you are being on the inside is what you are having on the outside. The two were never separate.

So the question is never only “why don’t I have it?” The truer question is “what am I being that keeps it at a distance?” When you are being the self that is nothing — cut off, unworthy, behind — you stand apart from your right work. When you are being the Self that is everything — whole,  worthy and deserving — you and your work are no longer two things reaching for each other. They are the same.

To be separate is to be in the dark

There are two minds, not one. You have been told there is only one, but the wrong mind imagines a story of separation — a dream or a nightmare unworthy of who You are. It paints the gap, the lack, the rejection, and calls it real. The right mind, hidden in the lower gut beneath those layers of sin, guilt, and fear, knows the opposite: that you were never truly cut off from anything, least of all your purpose and passion.

Which one you experience is granted by the mind you choose to make your own. Stay in the wrong mind and the shadows stay too — the comparison, the disapproval, the insecure self — and your work remains in the dark with you. Return to the right mind and the same light that is in you can be extended upon your work, where the shadows of sin, guilt, and fear cannot touch what you have made.

From separate to the same

This is the shift The Treasure Map has been created to make. You do not fight the separation, and you do not analyse it. You forgive it — at the cause, not the effects of form. Through the practice of FAITH — Forgiveness, Authenticity, Introspection, Trust and Honesty — you meet each shadow of separation with the ‘I Forgive’ principle and withdraw it. The lack of finance, the parent’s disapproval, the overlooked self: one by one, taken to truth. And as each veil thins, the distance between you and your right work quietly closes.

First you change your mind from wrong to right. Then you rewrite the work you do upon the foundation of peace, and not pain. You stop being the one stranded in the dark, and start being the one who is the same as their work — whole, holy and happy. For when you are being that, you cannot help but to have it. The good and great work was never withheld from you. You were only standing apart from it. By the mind you had made your own.

So if there is something you do not yet have at work, be gentle, and be honest: somewhere, you are being its opposite. Forgive the shadow that holds the separation in place, and let the right mind return you to the truth. Because being and having cannot be parted — and you have what you are being.
